Located in the Grand Lodge above the town of Breckenridge, the restaurant was designed in the Colorado rustic/industrial style as an integral component of the for-sale condominium and entertainment project. Just a few yards from the high-speed gondola, Sevens serves a variety of clientele, from the casual stop-in skier to family dining and formal receptions. The deliberate tenant finish design utilizes natural, rustic materials and pairs them with local mountain vernacular creating an inviting and distinctive atmosphere.
The Sevens Restaurant at the base of Peak 7 provides full-service dining as well as a quick-service window for burgers and sandwiches. An expansive bar and wood-fired pizza oven also offer resort guests the opportunity to relax after a day on the slopes.
Sevens captures views of the Continental Divide from its expansive windows and ample patio area.
Ski resort service facilities sustain significant wear, given the transient nature of users, the severity of the winter climate, and the impact of foot traffic (including ski equipment). Materials were selected for the project to extend the life cycle of the space, including high-grade carpet tile, concrete counters, and steel baseboards.
The Grand Lodge Peak Seven South Building is a 18-unit 316,000 square foot mixed-use time-share condominium.
The project was a collaboration with Vail Resorts food-service personnel, applying specific preferences and expertise of the operation to the technical aspects of design and construction documentation.
