As part of an as-needed contract for the General Services Administration in the Rocky Mountain Region, SE Provided Tenant finish design and construction administration services on a variety of local projects, ranging from several hundred to over 150,000 square feet. Some of the government agencies served by these projects included:
Because the government agencies function as tenant of the General Services Administration, the projects were contracted through GSA and utilized the established standards for construction.
GSA's PBS P-100 document sets the bar for all manner of construction and design, including sitework, architecture and interiors, structural engineering, HVAC and plumbing systems, electrical systems, life safety, and security.
SE provided architecture, engineering and construction administration services for a 38,000 tenant-finish of DOEd space in Denver. Located on 3 floors in a federal office building, integrated design resulted in high-quality tenant office space, as well as a revamped HVAC system and fully-modernized restroom cores.
Another example was the design and construction documents for a 21,000 space for ATF in the Byron Rogers Federal Building. Involving the complete renovation of one floor, the project converted the space from existing shell to office and workstations for the team of field agents. Our multi-discipline team was able to conceptualize the specific needs of the end-user and formulate an integrated design, with new interior as well as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical design.
SE was also contracted to perform significant construction administration services for the new 177,000 square foot FBI field office in Denver. Our numerous responsibilities included Davis-Bacon Wage interviews, construction site inspection, field problem-solving, and management of the final punchlists.
